The Railway Volunteers have worked very hard to repair the railway track that was vandalised at the beginning of the week. The train is now fully operational again.
SATURDAY 18TH APRIL 2015 -
In support of the Chief Fire Officer Association Water Safety Event
13-19 April, Kent Fire & Rescue Service will be providing water safety
advice. Between 11:30 and 14:00, they will also demonstrate a number of
simulated water rescues and bring along one of their fire engines. The event is
to demonstrate the dangers of playing in open water and the risk this poses to
members of the public.
were 669 water-related fatalities in 2013 – that’s two-and-a-half times the
number of people that died in dwelling fires in 2012/13.
Due to technical issues the paddling pool will be closed for the foreseeable future, however the Water Features will still be operational.
The cafe, boats and bouncy castle and battery cars and bikes will be open from Saturday 14th February 2015 for the half term (weather permitting) and weekends after that, again weather permitting.
The paddling pool should be open for the first weekend in April 2015. The play areas and car parks are open daily (9am until dusk).The train will commence on Good Friday.
Birthday Parties: We are now taking bookings for next year. We are also extending our parties to the school holidays as well as weekends. If you wish to book a party please contact Ann Weston on 01322-666363. We are also taking bookings now for our youth nights which are held on a Monday and a Friday from Easter, this is open to all youth organisations. We are also taking bookings for our popular school trips, to book please contact Ann Weston.
The train will commence this coming Friday 3rd April 2015 (weather permitting) - and don't forget our Easter Fun Day on Sunday 5th April 2015 - various stalls, a Easter Quiz - free cream egg for children on completion, and Wonder Pony Rides - (weather permitting).
