With play areas, paddling pool, sandpit, boating lake, 7 1/4" gauge
railway, cafeteria, bouncy castle, battery bikes and gardens all set in over 50 acres of open park land this is certainly
the "Jewel in Swanley Town Council's Crown". Over the past 23 years Swanley Park has become one of North
Kent's favourite recreational facilities with visitors from all over Kent and the London area. Just five minutes
drive from the M25 J3 / M20 junction, two car parks, rail and bus links close by, we are ideally situated. The park is free
at the point of entry (£2 car parking charge Easter & Summer holidays) the rest of the facilities are very reasonably
priced.

Swanley Town Council opened Swanley Park in the
summer of 1983 on land that was originally nurseries, orchards and farm buildings. The grounds were re-landscaped
to incorporate a boating lake, paddling pool, play area and the original buildings now house the cafeteria, toilet block,
Park Warden and the Town Council's parks department. The railway and model yachting were introduced in 1986.
The Teams This is the gardening department receiving yet another award for their hard work. As
well as making a great job of maintaning the park their work can be admired throughout the Swanley, Hextable and
Swanley Village areas.
